Cashew falls on sluggish demand
Cashew prices fell by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today due to reduced offtake by retailers and stockists at existing higher levels.
Adequate stocks position following increased arrivals from producing belts also weighed on the cashew prices.
Cashew kernel (No 180, 210, 240 and 320) prices fell by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 635-645, Rs 590-600, Rs 525-535 and Rs 440-460 per kg, respectively.
