Weekly Market Report - Dry Fruits
DRY FRUITS: Firming conditions developed in the local dry fruits market during the week under review as select prices rose on pick-up on retailers buying due to ongoing marriage season.
Traders said pick-up in retailers demand in view of marriage season, mainly led to rise in select dry fruits prices.
They said paucity of stocks and firming trend in producing region also influenced the trading sentiment.
Almond (California) gained Rs 50 to Rs 9,950 per 40 kg and its kernel inched up by Rs 2 to Rs 362-367 per kg.
Cashew kernel No 210, cashew kernel No 240 and cashew kernel No 320 varieties were up by Rs 5 each to settled at Rs 595-605,Rs 540-550 and Rs 445-465 per kg, respectively.
Pishtachio Hairati and Peshwari too higher by Rs 10 each to Rs 1,110-1,235 and Rs 1,360-1,410 per kg.
